Inside-Out Improv
A fun workshop in which participants bring objects, pictures, etc., which are then used as the inspiration for an improvised piece of music by Dr. Nancy. The performance is followed by a discussion of the listening experience and its relationship to the musical content. Great for school groups, youth events, summer camps, preschools, community groups, etc.
Can be customized from 50 to 90 minutes in length

"Sing and See" Workshop
One of the most important attributes of a great vocalist is the ability to sing on pitch. This workshop uses visual technology tools to allow singers to see whether they are singing on pitch and how pitch responds to the application of various singing techniques.

Mic Technique Workshop
Does the idea of singing with a microphone make you nervous? Or maybe you are hoping to get up at the next karaoke or open mic night, but don't really know how to use the microphone to your advantage! This workshop teaches you all about mic technique and gives you a chance to practice with a real mic and sound system.

Vocal Improvisation Workshop
Designed for a group of singers, this vocal improv session gives you the chance to bring creativity to life in a fun and interactive way! Great for team-building activities or to kick off a new season for church choirs, school choirs, or other groups of singers.
Can be customized from 50 minutes to 2 hours in length
Introduction to Sightsinging
This multi-session workshop introduces participants to the basics of sight-singing, that is, building the skill of being able to sing a new song at first sight. Participants should already have a basic understanding of how to read music.

Youth Group Singing
Many young people would love to sing, but find it difficult to fit chorus or choir into their school schedule. This activity is a fun time to explore healthy singing technique in a group setting, learn to hear and sing harmonies, and to share in the joy of making music by joining our voices in song! A great opportunity for home school groups/students as well!
